| General Overview | They are very work focused and like the rest of their species work in pairs (regarded as twins) and have a habit of finishing each others sentences. They do communicate between themselves in a high pitched, rapid binary language but when asked a question they will answer in an understandable manner. They are linked directly into the Starbase Obsidian Computer in the same way that they are connected to the mainframe on Bynaus. | |

| Personal History | One of the landmark moments in the Federation was when Dot and Dash entered Starfleet Academy, the first Bynars to do so. Many expected them to end up on the Operations track but Starfleet Intelligence had other ideas and headhunted them. So they ended up working on a deep cover, clandestine team in Romulan space, becoming very familiar with Romulan cyphers and codes. Following that they were assigned to the USS Arcadia and later Starbase Obsidian. |
