| Personal History | Tilev's life is largely one of service, exactly what might be expected of a Vulcan, he chose not to join Starfleet - thus bucking what was becoming something of a trend and focused instead on teaching the heritage of the Alpha Quadrant at the Vulcan Science Academy his specialisms being philosophy and ethics. He was asked by the leadership of Vulcan to take up the post of Vulcan Ambassador to Earth, a very prestigious position owing to Earth being the centre of the Federation meaning he would be representing Vulcan to several of the most influential figures in the Quadrant. Out of a sense of duty Tilev accepted. While on Earth Tilev conducted his affairs as Ambassador in a professional manner, during his time there he was asked to advise on Romulan resettlement in the Alpha Quadrant and during meetings on the matter met and became close with a Romulan called T'Kes who he would later marry. When it became apparent that T'Kes's role on Earth could not continue due to the then political climate Tilev resigned his post and returned to teach at the Vulcan Science Academy once again imparting what wisdom he could in the hopes of changing the direction of travel the Quadrant seemed to be on. |
