With Lieutenant Cruz gone on the away mission, Erin had the responsibility of holding down the rest of the department, which admittedly was not that hard with it not being fully staffed, but still had its challenges. She received notification that there was a shuttle slated for arrival later that day that had 20 Science Officers, and that would be a nice start to get the department fleshed out.

Couldis exited her office and surveyed the room around her. There were stations that had recently been restored and power run to them, which would go a long way. She had been informed that supplies were being delivered this week, and they would be able to get the labs working. She was more at home in a lab, and so she was looking forward to that.

"Ensign Ferrington, could you please do me a favor when you have a moment," she asked as she stopped by the station of one of the few people already working in Sciences.

"Yes ma'am, what can I do for you?"

"We had some samples sent over from Goph, and we need to catalog them and start the analysis. Could you start that?" Hannah nodded.

"Sure thing. I was almost done here, anyway. Where are they?" Erin pointed to the left.

"They are sitting at station three. Thank you for doing that."

"No problem." The woman stood and headed over to the station, and lifted the lid to the box before getting to work. Erin nodded, pleased. It wasn't often that she would be in charge, but she appreciated everyone's ability to work together and accomplish their goals.
