The following is a personal log from LT(JG) Amanda Hemsley.

Personal Log, Amanda Hemsley

We just got our orders for the new mission. After everything that happened in the last one, I was hoping to at least have a couple of days to get some rest. To spend some time with Katagh, not working. To visit the holodeck with Judith. Her life completely changed when we had to move to the Arcadia. And I haven't even really had the time to unwind with her. But that's the life of a Starfleet Officer in war time, I guess.

Katagh has been a godsend. Both as my acting ACMO and my partner. Being a retired commander himself, he knows how this works. I have been sharing as much of my responsibilities with him as I can. I already knew he would be a wonderful parent to Judith, but seeing them spend even more time together, seeing how much Judith depends on him and loves him, makes me think this change won't be to bad. With Kataghs help, I think I can do this.
