Twenty six hours had been the promise and twenty six hours was going to be delivered, there was roughly just over one hour of those twenty six left when Charlotte stepped onto the bridge of the Angel and found Hannah and Okan finishing up one last round of system checks. "Go or no go?" Charlotte asked as she settled down into the centre chair and began checking things as well

"We'll be go." Hannah said "Warp core will be hot in fifteen minutes."

"Okan?" Charlotte asked

"Drones finishing loading torpedoes, we've got photon, quantum, antimatter and polaron." Okan said.

Joel headed to the bridge having stowed his gear, ready to report into the 1st Lieutenant. He grinned when he thought about Jordan stopping by to make certain he was all prepared. It was his way of telling him he better come back in one piece. He walked off the turbolift and headed straight to Charlotte, standing at attention, respectfully waiting for her to finish her conversation.

Derek made his way to the bridge. He went over to his security station and logged in getting ready for the events that would be upcoming.

Erin quietly made her way onto the ship, her bag slung over her shoulder. She made her way to her quarters, quickly dropped the bag off and headed for the bridge. Stepping off of the turbolift she glanced around to see who had made it already, and then headed for an empty console towards the back of the bridge.

Mike and Tom made their way together to the ship. "I'm telling you now. If you don't do what they say to do and go in all half cocked, I'm shooting you myself with my phaser." Tom said to Mike. "I promised your Aunt I would get you and your Uncle home in one piece and not up on any charges. Do not forget my power here."

"Yes Tom. I know. Why everyone thinks I'm going to go off is crazy. I know my job and how to do it." Mike said.

"We think that because you have a bit of Bradley in you. And I know your history Mr lemme diffuse all these active bombs by myself." Tom said.

They both made their way to the bridge. Mike standing at his station and Tom standing in the background.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to stand at attention Joel?" Charlotte said "It's not like Jackson's on the bridge." she glanced at the antique, gold and silver plated pocket watch that was on a chain attached to her belt, it was a family heirloom. Her attention was taken as Ewan and Codi walked onto the bridge with Maddy not far behind "So?"

"Spore drive checks out." Ewan said "As does the navigator."

"And by the time you've got the Admiral out of that facility I'll have sickbay ready for what's needed." Maddy said

"Good." Charlotte said spinning around slightly in the chair "Mr Harker would you please run the final weapons status check" she glanced towards the back of the bridge "Erin whatever you need to get your Betazoid abilities on point, let me know, music, meditation, whatever it is. You're the key to getting to Bradley once we get there." Erin grew nervous at that, but it never showed on her features.

"Of course, Lieutenant. It isn't really something I can practice for, my abilities are genetic, but it wouldn't hurt to be as grounded as possible. I will go to my quarters for a while after we leave and ready myself."

“Dr Dale, I’d like to help you set up sickbay for what we had discussed. I have some tools that may help us with Synthulan technology “ Tom said.

Derek ran his checks on weapons “All weapon systems ready”

Joel smiled at Charlotte's comments. Some old habits died hard and that was one he needed to remember. He relaxed as he watched the others come on the bridge. Jordan had shared his concerns about Mike, Joel knew that Thrace also was aware. He was going to concentrate on the mission. If Mike became a liability, he would enjoy his own company in a four by four cell.

Erin stood quietly to the side and observed the bridge crew getting the ship ready to leave. She knew tensions were high, and could sense some anger and disapproval, but she hoped it wouldn't become more than that.

Mike watched everyone enter and board. He inputted the system ready checks into the operations console confirming as everyone told him they were ready so they could head out.

"We just haven't seen Flight Ops, Lt Thrace. Everyone else is on board and accounted for. And all their systems are go." Mike replied.

Charlotte nodded but knowing the two concerned they wouldn't be waiting that long and sure enough it was only a few moments later that the final members of their rescue crew turned up. "Ok then." Charlotte said looking around "When we joined Starfleet we all knew what we were signing on for, exploration, discovery, first contact, the unknown. Starfleet has made each of us the people we are and now one of the people responsible for that is held captive, so we're going into the lion's den and we're getting him back. It won't be easy but this time, and perhaps only this time the advantage is ours, the element of surprise is ours. We will get Admiral Bradley and we will bring him home." she looked at Mike "Commander signal the base that we're ready to depart and initiate undocking procedures."

Mike nodded and sent the message to the base. "Initiating undocking procedures."

Charlotte watched the viewscreen as the Angel's thrusters pushed the ship away from the docking port and was then orientated towards clear space. "Lay in a course for El-Adrel." she said "And set sail."

Yujas leaned back in his chair at his station as the ships thrusters kicked in. He didn’t know what to expect but he was almost prepared for anything.

Joel took a seat, thinking about the mission ahead. They had a well thought out plan and would succeed, of that he had no doubt it was the unforeseen obstacles that they would have to deal with. Joel knew without a doubt there would be some.

Erin glanced at Charlotte, and nodded. She stood from her seat, and headed for the turbolift. This was going to be challenging, and she might as well mentally prepare as much as she was able in her quarters.

As the ship went into warp Charlotte relaxed back in the chair and looked around "Everyone go through your preparations, we've got a few days, check everything, make sure everything is ready." she said "As soon as Black Alert is called rescue team goes to the shuttlebay and boards one of the Kaplan's."
