Marius had just left his meeting with Commander Haines and Lieutenant Commander McMahon when he was alerted of a new arrival being prevented from docking, apparently a Starfleet Security Officer. Walking the rest of the few feet into his ready room, he crossed the room and sat behind his desk.

"What in the world?" He had no idea what was going on. "Send me their personnel file," he asked, looking for some clarification. Within seconds he had been sent the file, and he quickly opened it.

Species: Cardassian

He didn't need to read any further to understand what the problem was. With a sigh he leaned back in his chair, thinking about his decision. On the one hand, he was not in the mood to let any Cardassian or Romulan onboard the station, but this was a verified Starfleet Officer. He quickly looked over the transfer orders for the Lieutenant that he had been sent. He imagined the war had not been kind to him either. He knew what he had to do.

"Pontmercy to Ops. Let the shuttle dock. His orders are legit, and he has every right to be here."

"Aye aye Captain," came the reply. That settled that. At least they had a new security officer.
