Timeline: One Month Later

Alright everyone, as of this post we are now one month in the future.

On:

Marius stood in his ready room, sipping a hot cup of coffee from his repaired, well sort of, replicator. He hadn't raised an issue about the spotty performance of the machine as there was plenty more for the repair crews to be worried about, but at least he sometimes had coffee. He glanced down at the data padd in his hand, knowing that he now had to share with the Senior staff. He was thankful that the shields and weapons were now online, at least that was something to be happy about. With a sigh, he tapped his comm badge.

"All Senior staff report to the conference room in thirty minutes," he said. He returned to looking out the view-port, wondering what exactly was in store for them all.


****** 30 Minutes Later ******

Marius strode into the Conference room, surprised that he was one of the last to arrive. Usually he was ahead of the game, but he supposed he needed sleep. Well...that would have to wait. He nodded at everyone assembled, and just as he was about to speak, the last two stragglers came rushing into the room.

"Welcome everyone," he said as he started out. "I know that we have been absorbed in the repairs on this base, but I wanted first to thank everyone for their hard work around the clock. We have defenses...and offensive measures at the ready finally, and I am thankful for that." He looked down at the padd in his hand. "I know that we still have a long way to go, but it looks like Medical is almost completely restored, and we are at least able to handle triage there, and most of the debris scattered throughout the base has been removed. We should be able to have the promenade receive new tenants within the next month." He cleared his throat.

"With those updates out of the way, I wanted to let you know that I have received word that the USS Calvary has been located. I will remind you that the Calvary, along with its 597 crew members were assumed destroyed during a fight with Cardassians near Corinth. However, recent data pulled from sensors indicate that there is a chance that the Calvary landed on Arbazan. While Arbazan is now listed as a former Federation World, we do not know the status of their feelings towards us. So, we will need to proceed with caution. It looks as though it landed in an uninhabited portion of the world, in a dense forest. It is unknown at this time with the Cardassians did not pursue." He sighed again, and then spoke. "Commander Haines, you will be leading this mission. Lieutenant Commander McMahon will go, along with Lieutenants Chambers, Hemsley, Stokes, Haines, Cruz, and V'Lar. 1st Lieutenant Thrace, you will assemble a team to go with you, and Lieutenant Haines you will assemble a security detail. We have no idea what is waiting for you." He glanced at the time. "You will take the Arcadia in Two Hours...time is of the essence. Godspeed."
