Mission: Obsidian

Mike hung up the view call. He shook his head. How was it he always got involved in the messy business that his family was involved in. Codes were one thing. Changing information was one thing. Secrets were another. His uncle had a way of getting into the biggest issues and making them go away. This was one of those things, that well, wasn't going away. But he needed to get information that his uncle wasn't sharing. He couldn't force the Director of Intelligence to do or say anything. But something was going on. With the base, with the fleet.

Something happened here, and it very well could be related to other things going on. This was something that had never been seen, something that had happened now twice. Could it all be related? Could there be a new enemy we aren't aware of. Someone was going to have to give up information soon. Until then, they would continue working - and hope that they didn't meet this new enemy on their own.

ooc: per Marius, no one is to post discovering anything on this right now without clearing it with him.
