Mission: Obsidian

While the Arcadia had been away from the base Hannah had been busy with her sisters shopping list, the three Cardassian ATR-4107's that Yujas had tracked down had arrived and sat dormant at docking berths the NCIA-93 class had been found after a long scrapyard trawl. She was looking forward to her scheduled Velocity match against Okan when V'Lar came into the department and found her.

"Read this and tell me what you think." V'Lar said handing a small pile of PADD's to Hannah.

"And this is?" Hannah asked

"Probable plot against the Federation-Klingon alliance." V'Lar said, Hannah read the information quickly her eyes darting left and right, the pieces falling into place in her head.

"It's clever." Hannah said slowly "But we've missed a trick."

"Accelerated timetable probability, finding the DNA does not necessarily equal eliminating the threat." V'Lar said, Hannah nodded "You're the anthropologist, if you wanted to break the alliance how would you do it?"

"With something big." Hannah said "Something high profile, something that at minimum turns the Klingons against themselves but as a bonus could turn them against the Federation."

"You've got half an hour." V'Lar said "And then you can brief the senior staff."

"You want me to do that?" Hannah asked

"Yes." V'Lar said "Thirty minutes enough?"

"I do like a challenge." Hannah said
